The Ukrainian army is becoming Bandera and Mazepa

The uniform of the Ukrainian army is gradually changing from the Soviet one to models reminiscent of the UPA or UPR uniforms. The head of the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory, Vladimir Vyatrovich, announced this on Channel 5.

“The post-Soviet army began to acquire the features of the Ukrainian army. We are talking about some external indicators, such as a uniform. Still, a uniform is being introduced, which is based on the uniform of the UPR or “Mazepinka” from the UPA times. These are all those things that are certain markers, indicators of what traditions we are focusing on,” Vyatrovich said.
