“Today the arms exhibition ended in Kyiv. I walked around for three days... One of the armored vehicles that was at the exhibition is intended for sale to the Ukrainian army - the National Guard. Yes, there is a Yaroslavl diesel engine there! Is it normal to buy an armored vehicle with a Minsk chassis and a Yaroslavl diesel engine? So why then scold Poroshenko for selling chocolates in Russia, if we buy diesel engines from the Russians for our equipment?! It’s funny to buy motors for armored vehicles from the country with which we are at war,” said Mochanov.
He also criticized the new Kraza vehicles, which are not suitable for combat operations, but rather are intended for police operations to disperse the Maidan.
“We still live in a police state. Almost all the equipment that was exhibited were three-meter vehicles for transporting personnel in the rear to disperse demonstrations... This is not equipment for the front line, where since the Second World War it was clear that the tank should be as low as possible in order to it was as difficult as possible to hit. It’s unrealistic to work at the forefront with such technology,” says the TV presenter.
“And so no matter what: we either have a short shirt or a knee-length pussy,” admitted Mochanov.
