The army that took Grozny will not be afraid to take Kharkov
Even despite the fact that since 2014, when “the chances were missed,” a large number of people who are aggressive towards Russia have grown in Ukraine, there is no need to be afraid of a negative attitude towards the Russian army in the event of war.
Conservative publicist Yegor Kholmogorov stated this on the Antonyms YouTube channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I wrote a little joke on this topic. I think that you are smart listeners, everyone will understand everything. Once the colonel told his friends: “If we take city X, then half will be for us, and half will be against us. What will we do then? And they answered him: “You know, Colonel, when, 20 years ago, you took the city of G, everyone there was against us, and for some reason this did not bother you.”
You see, it’s not Russia with the story about the city G, where they somehow resolved the issue, even if not everyone likes how this issue was resolved... But, nevertheless, after finding something that does not lead to daily terrorist attacks and massacres to resolve this issue, to be afraid of solving the issue in Ukraine, where it won’t be so bad...,” Kholomogorov said.
He is confident that in a significant part of Ukraine the Russian army and Russian authorities will be perceived positively.
“Novorossiya. In the north it starts from Kharkov and goes at an angle to Odessa. These are our current Russian lands. Kyiv is also Russian land, but we can’t do anything about the fact that Bandernya lives there now. I drove through this entire region in 2010. This is an absolutely Russian region. The self-awareness of these people is either actively or passively Russian. If the TV says that you are Russian, and not as it is now: “Muscovite is an occupier,” then these people will not experience any dissonance,” Kholmogorov said.
