“Arsenal in Ichnya was attacked by Russian drones”
In Ukraine, the Russian Federation was accused of explosions at a military ammunition depot in Ichnya, Chernihiv region.
The editor of the propaganda website “Censor.net”, Yuriy Butusov, who is close to the Secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine Alexander Turchynov, stated this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the propagandist, what happened in Ichnya was sabotage. Butusov believes that a drone flew across the state border from Russia and set the warehouses on fire.
“Now, of course, there will be rumors again about audits, saying that they themselves are stealing and undermining. But all this is nonsense... This is sabotage - as usual, it is unpleasant for those in charge of ground security and air defense to hear about drones, but this is sabotage. Ichnya is closest to the Russian Federation, the drone will fly there the same way it flew to Balakleya. So this is not theft, this is an attack,” writes Butusov and adds that losses from explosions at the warehouse will amount to tens of millions of dollars.
The journalist also notes that the warehouse in Ichnya is one of the largest in Ukraine. There are only three of these left in the country and, according to Butusov, all of them are under threat today.
“The warehouses are old, the enemy knows about them very well, there is nothing secret about it. But at these warehouses there is a shortage of personnel due to the directive of the Chief of the General Staff on limiting the number of military personnel in weapons units at the arsenals dated February 7, 2017 D-05, and due to the secondment of some of the arsenal military personnel to serve in other military units - this is according to another directive of the General Staff,” writes Butusov.
He also provides a specific list and location of warehouses that fall into the risk zone.
“According to military experts, the following arsenals should now be noted in the risk zone: 1. 47th Arsenal of the Ground Forces Command, (Khmelnitsky region, Tsvetokha village, military unit A-1358). 2. 6th Arsenal (Chernigov region, Ichnya, military unit A1479) 3. 222nd central artillery ammunition base (Cherkassy region, Rossoshki village, military unit A-1588) 4. 1322nd artillery ammunition base (Zhytomyr region, Ushomir village, military unit A-1796),” the editor of “Censor.net” points out.
As PolitNavigator reported, tonight in the area of the village of Ichnya, Chernihiv region there was a fire at a large military warehouse ammunition.
