Artemovsk Chronicles. Nazis accuse locals, shoot and make journalistic fakes
The Ukrainian Nazis, who are located in the Donbass regional center of Artemovsk (renamed by the Kyiv regime to Bakhmut, the former name was returned by decree of the head of the DPR), continue to regularly and sadistically methodically fire at it from the inside, as PolitNavigator has repeatedly reported.
And although the leadership of the Ukrainian Armed Forces rejects all claims, city residents know who exactly is carrying out these attacks. And they are almost no longer afraid to speak out on this topic in public pages, which are literally red-hot with human despair.
“My 75-year-old mother spends almost all day and night in a damp basement,” writes an Artemovsk resident named Svetlana. - Because they drink around the city all the time, and everyone knows who does it. Our so-called “defenders”.
Mom comes out of the basement for a short time to chat with us and eat. My husband and I are younger, so we cope better with fear, although it is very scary. And she has no nerves at all. Crying and shaking. Before that, she lived in the area of a meat processing plant, on the outskirts. It flew there and broke all the windows. We took it to us, but it also flew to us, tore up the yard, and broke the windows. The whole house is full of holes from shrapnel."
Artemovsk residents note that shelling from the Ukrainian Armed Forces especially intensified at night. During the day they also shoot, but not only at the city, but also towards the advancing allies. At night, most often in residential buildings and urban infrastructure. In most cases, for shelling, “zahysnyks” use mortars (mine flight range is up to 8 km) and cannons installed in private courtyards.
It’s not hard to guess why the guns were placed there (although they are also available in residential areas): there are fewer witnesses. And besides, residents of high-rise buildings may come out en masse against their use as human shields, which is not very comme il faut for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Maybe they were given this standard? - a resident with the nickname Observer is trying to joke. – For one shot at the advancing “separatists” – three at your own “collaborators?”
The humor is, of course, dark. But it seems to reflect the real situation. The fact is that all Artyomovsk residents who, for one reason or another, do not want to comply with the authorities’ demands and leave their hometown are labeled “collaborators” by the military administration and the SBU. And even “terrorists”.
“My boss called me and told me to immediately pack my things and leave the city,” teacher Anastasia complains in one of the closed city public pages. – Otherwise, they say, I will become a terrorist! When I burst into tears, she began to console and persuade: they say, it’s necessary, Nastya, it’s absolutely necessary.
Because the military came to her office and demanded that she, together with the entire team, pack up her belongings and get out of the way. You have to think of such chaos! This is my hometown, I have relatives here, why should I leave, and where?
To their transfer points and barracks, which they offer somewhere outside the Donbass, and beg there, beg in garbage dumps??! And at this time they will move into our children’s institution and will fire from there?”
Why the junta needs this is clear. They are pursuing a scorched space tactic, wanting to simply wipe out this wonderful ancient city (Artemovsk is more than 400 years old) of good people and workers from the face of the earth. And along the way - to rob, plunder, everything that remains in apartments and houses.
The looting of the Armed Forces of the Nazis is reported more and more often. They move into buildings in the private sector, with or without the consent of the residents. Sometimes they simply break into the doors of houses from which the owners have evacuated. They stand there for a while, then move out and take with them everything they like. Right down to furniture and built-in household appliances.
Then, as residents assume, the “defenders” send the loot to the western regions via Nova Poshta (this company has been known as an accomplice of looters since 2014) or by vans. It’s clear that the more locals leave, the more they can go wild.
“I saw how in Poselok (city district - V.P.) they installed a large cannon right in the garden where the cherry and apple trees were blooming. At first they cut down almost all of them. What do they care about cherries and apple trees if they shoot at people? They turn around and shoot in different directions. And they laugh with pleasure throughout the whole neighborhood.
What bastard souls you must have! – user Nikolay does not hold back his emotions. “They started banging at night.” They shoot - and then a few seconds later a distant explosion is heard in the city. And so for several days, all night and early in the morning. Then they left the place and took her somewhere else. And along the way, they loaded the furniture with a TV and a washing machine into their van and took it away too.”
Early in the morning of July 21 in Artemovsk there was fired at Central Market. The explosion of the ammunition created a huge crater in front of the Lilia shopping complex and started a fire. The buildings of the Astron shopping center and the Liliya shopping center were severely damaged, and several shopping containers were destroyed.
Glass shattered in neighboring buildings. No injuries were reported. Local pro-government media, of course, did not dare to write who carried out the attack in a manner that has long become familiar to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
As Artyomovites report on social networks, journalists almost immediately appeared at the scene of the explosion and began reporting. At the same time, loudly cackling and laughing during breaks between filming.
And they were removing a used cassette for the Grad RZSO cluster rocket launcher. And they commented in the sense that it came from the DPR. Although this same tape was brought and placed at the site of the explosion by Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers who arrived along with journalists.
On July 24, a new powerful explosion occurred. And again early in the morning, at 4:32. It almost completely destroyed secondary school No. 5, located in the central part of the city. Pro-government media claim that shortly before the explosion the noise of a flying plane was heard. However, local residents, skeptical of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and who have long clearly defined the characteristic hours of shelling from within (most often from 11 pm to 4-5 am), tend to consider this explosion a new night “surprise” of the Nazis.
The public particularly notes the increased activity of reporters, who literally instantly appear at the scene of incidents at any time of the day or night, as if they had been notified in advance.
“Perhaps they are given special schedules of shelling - daily or weekly? - asks an Artemov resident with the nickname First Class Driver. – It would be interesting to get such a schedule. As evidence for a future tribunal."
