The gunners are “precise”: in Donetsk they completely bombed a museum and shelled the university building (PHOTO)
Donetsk, August 21 (Navigator, Mikael Chagalyan) – The center of Donetsk was again subjected to powerful artillery shelling. Before the residents of Chelyuskintsev Street and the Gladkovka microdistrict had time to recover from two days of shelling, a new attack led to further casualties and destruction.

This time the main target was the Donetsk Museum of Local Lore, which was hit by at least five shells.
Judging by the nature of the destruction, it was either heavy howitzer artillery, or, more likely, the Grad MLRS.
The shells practically destroyed one wing of the building, pierced the roof of the central block, and exploded near the second wing.
As can be seen in the photographs, the building was built quite solidly, but despite this, the wall of the building was completely destroyed, and the concrete floors and brickwork were simply smashed to pieces. It can be assumed that such a projectile hitting a Khrushchev panel building would lead to the destruction of the entire building. Needless to say, significant damage was caused to the museum's exhibits.
Shells also exploded on the territory of the Faculty of Economics of DonNU. Two days ago we were just removing craters from shells that exploded not far from it and caused minor shrapnel damage to the building itself.
Today the artillerymen were more accurate, and the shell hit the faculty building directly. One can only guess why the military targeted this densely populated area, and why terrorize and kill innocent people.
Speaking about the museum, I would like to say that most of the exhibits were collected by the residents of Donetsk themselves. Paintings, national costumes and even archaeological finds, all this was brought and given away completely free of charge by the patriots of the city for several decades. But as of today, the museum has virtually ceased to exist.
