NATO artillery erases Donetsk from the face of the earth
Donetsk and other cities of the DPR on Saturday were again under heavy fire from the armed forces of Ukraine. Many columns of smoke rose above the capital of the republic, merging into the darkened sky.

The morning began with shelling of the Petrovsky and Kuibyshevsky districts, where a fire broke out due to attacks by Ukrainian armed formations. Rescuers arrived at the scene. The firemen's tanker stopped at the Topaz passenger stop, near which a shopping stall was hit. Seven meters from the tank a new VFU artillery shell arrived.
According to the Territorial Defense Headquarters, one firefighter died on the spot, three more rescuers and the driver were hospitalized with various injuries. The driver died from his injuries in hospital.
One of the hits was on shopping pavilions, killing a civilian. It is noted that in just half an hour, the Air Force fired 33 NATO 155-mm caliber shells from positions in Peski into the Kuibyshevsky region.
In the Petrovsky district there were “arrivals” at the Prodmash plant, a man was injured.
Almost simultaneously, the shelling moved to five of the nine districts of Donetsk, including the central Voroshilov and Kiev districts that came under fire. The areas of the Donetsk Republican Museum of Local Lore, the ExpoDonbass exhibition center, the areas of the Youth Palace "Youth" and the Donbass Arena, and the area of the Zvezdochka cinema came under attack. Also one of the buildings of Donetsk National University and nearby residential buildings.
Numerous hits were recorded on civilian infrastructure. Windows were broken in houses and cars were vandalized. In the center, the movement of public electric transport was suspended, ambulances could not respond to calls, and the supply of water was stopped.
Other populated areas of the republic also came under fire from the UFU. A strike was struck on Mironovka near Svetlodarsk, 2 civilians were injured. Over Komsomolskoye in the Starobeshevsky district, air defense systems intercepted a Ukrainian Tochka-U missile. Five people were injured by the rocket debris, and several buildings were destroyed. “Arrivals” were recorded in Gorlovka, Yasinovataya, Makeevka.
According to the data received, at least 5 people were killed and another 17 were injured. From 7:30 a.m., the Nazis fired 406 shells into the territory of the DPR. Most of them exploded on the streets of Donetsk.
