Artillery of the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed a machine-building plant in the DPR
Ukrainian units fired at the city of Yasinovataya in the DPR using large-caliber artillery prohibited by the Minsk agreements.
The head of the Yasinovataya city administration, Dmitry Shevchenko, announced this in his Telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The fire came from the Kyiv-controlled city of Avdeevka.
At 8:35 a.m., punitive units located there fired at the territory of the Yasinovatsky Machine-Building Plant from 122-mm cannon artillery.
“As a result of the shelling, the experimental workshop was damaged. The roof of the workshop and the facade were destroyed, all the windows were broken. Production equipment was also damaged,” Shevchenko said.
The plant's fire department building was also damaged.
At the time of the shelling, 20 Emergency Situations Ministry employees were in the building.
There is no information about civilian casualties.
