Ballet dancers from the capital of the DPR go on tour to the USA and China
The Donbass Opera ballet troupe will give a number of performances in major cities in the USA and China until the end of this year.
The artistic director of the Donetsk State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after A.B. told reporters about this. Solovyanenko Vadim Pisarev, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
“In September, the theater’s ballet troupe will present the ballet “The Nutcracker” in the United States, and this winter in China – the ballets “Swan Lake”, “Giselle” and “La Bayadère”,” Pisarev said.
The artistic director of the theater noted that these tours will be the first foreign ones since the beginning of the war.
“The ballet school will tour China this December. Let's imagine the ballet "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs". This is the school’s first foreign tour since the beginning of the conflict in Donbass,” Pisarev said.
Pisarev also added that performances will take place in Shanghai, Shenzhen and Guangzhou.
