The Kosovo Assembly failed the odious anti-Serbian bill
Only 35 members of the Kosovo “parliament” out of 120 voted for the bill “On the war values of the Kosovo Liberation Army” (UCK) after it was not publicly supported by the EU and the United States.
The discriminatory law was not adopted because the largest factions, the Democratic League of Kosovo and Self-Determination, ignored the vote.
As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, since there was no quorum when voting for the bill “On the war values of the Kosovo Liberation Army” (UCK), it may be put to a vote again. This time, the two largest factions of the Kosovo Assembly that won the parliamentary elections - Self-Determination and the Democratic League of Kosovo, which formed the government - were pointedly ignored in the vote on the project. Also, deputies from the Serbian List party did not support the bill, for the reason that it was primarily directed against the Serbian national minority.
At the same time, all parties led by yesterday’s militants of the Kosovo Liberation Army voted for the bill: the Democratic Party of Kosovo (leaders Hashim Thaçi and Kadri Veseli), the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (leader Ramush Haradinaj) and the Social Democratic Initiative (leaders Fatmir Limaj and Jakup Krasniqi ), as well as parties of other ethnic minorities that joined them.
Hashim Tachi.
Only one deputy voted against the law, which shows that the “non-power” parties do not oppose it, but rather agree with the opinion of the Western curators of the “Republic of Kosovo” project who did not approve of the law. The Kosovo Liberation Army (UCK) War Values Bill was opposed by the embassies of the United States, Germany, Switzerland, as well as the EU and OSCE office in Kosovo, on the grounds that it threatens freedom of speech and the rights of citizens.
Let us recall that the bill stated that every “citizen of Kosovo” is obliged to “respect and defend the values of the struggle at all times and under all circumstances in Kosovo and abroad.”
The list of these so-called “values” included: the statement that UCK fighters died for freedom (other interpretations are not allowed), the gang’s flag, its coat of arms, the text of the bandits’ oath, the unquestioned authority of members of the general staff and other operational headquarters, a memorial complex to a bloodthirsty terrorist Ademu Yashari in Prekaz and other monuments to gang leaders. At the same time, violation of the law was supposed to be punished in accordance with the current legislation (according to the Constitution of Kosovo, this would mean that the violator is a traitor).
“This is an attempt to legitimize “verbal offenses”, first to force everyone to think like them, and to send those who disagree with them to prison,” Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic commented on the lawmaking of the Kosovo separatists. “They have already developed templates for acceptable opinions.”
