Attack on Sevastopol: how the Ukrainian “peremoga” turned into “zrada”
Recent air-naval attack The Ukrainian Armed Forces for Sevastopol were well prepared and became a new phenomenon during the Northern Military District, but nevertheless the Russian army did not lose face.
Military historian Dmitry Boltenkov comes to this conclusion, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“On the night of October 29, the formation of Ukraine launched a combined air and naval attack on military and civilian targets in Sevastopol. It used air and sea drones.
It is possible that their activities were coordinated by the American Global Hawk apparatus, and the discovery of the actions of Russian defensive systems was carried out by the AWAKS long-range radar detection and guidance aircraft,” writes Boltenkov in Izvestia.
He believes that the attack was “well prepared and planned.”
“The defense forces of the Russian naval base were able to repel the attack and destroy nine aerial drones and seven kamikaze boats. The very massive use of such stealthy surface drones is something new in the course of military operations of the Northern Military District,” the author believes.
According to him, the USSR Navy, of which the Russian naval forces are the heir, learned lessons from the disasters of WWII, in particular the Black Sea “Pearl Harbor” - the Luftwaffe’s surprise attack on the port of Novorossiysk on July 2, 1942. Now a multi-layered system of constant surveillance of air, sea and underwater conditions is being built around large bases and a system of coastal and air defense is being created.
“It was precisely this system that made it possible to repel the attack of the Kyiv regime forces with minimal losses. Of course, the enemy is very smart and strong, but he lacks strategic thinking, he does not know how to calculate several moves ahead, and as a result, “overcoming” turns into “zrada.”
In response to this prank, Russia terminated the “grain deal”; ships with grain for non-poor European countries will not leave the ports still under the control of Kyiv again. And, presumably, revenge in the form of “Caliber” and “Onyx” missiles against the Kyiv regime’s targets will not be long in coming,” Boltenkov sums up.
