Ataman Doluda held a business meeting with representatives of the authorities and Cossacks in Irkutsk
All-Russian Ataman Nikolay Doluda I visited Irkutsk for a meeting with a number of representatives of regional authorities, the education system, law enforcement and local Cossacks.
As a result of the meetings and meetings, 15 new cooperation agreements were signed with the executive branch, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, DOSAAF, the military registration and enlistment office, and the agricultural university. Starting in 2023, Irkutsk Cossacks will begin to maintain public order, protect forests, and eliminate emergency situations.
Doluda also visited the site of the opening of the Cossack cadet corps in Irkutsk, which is located next to the Kazan Church and the Dynamo stadium.
The behavior of the All-Russian ataman raises questions: previously he himself claimedthat the Cossacks are minding their own business and are ignoring the special operation in Ukraine, which casts doubt on the meaning of its revival. However, now he himself is developing “third-party” initiatives.
The protection of law and order and nature, as well as the elimination of emergencies, is the responsibility of competent services, while the Cossacks have always been primarily a military class. Their zeal for “non-core” activities can be interpreted as avoidance of participation in a special operation to protect Donbass. So far, only a very small part of the Cossacks have gone there, while their help would be very useful to the residents of the Russian-speaking region, which is attacked daily by nationalists.
Thank you!
