ATO Forever: Groysman has a defense order approved for three years in advance
On February 14, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, on the proposal of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, adopted the State Defense Order for 2017-2019.

It is reported that the medium-term state defense order is being accepted for the first time and assumes predictability of state budget expenditures, creates conditions for uniform loading of defense industry enterprises and the sustainable development of their production capacities.
“Planning the state defense order for 3 years is part of the medium-term economic planning that the Government introduced this year,” explained Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Yuriy Brovchenko.
The state defense order for 2017-2019 provides for financing the purchase of weapons and military equipment, modernization of existing weapons, restoration of production capacities of Ukrainian defense industry enterprises and work on the creation of new weapons.
The department explained that in 2017, funding for the needs of state military customers was increased compared to the previous year, and the share of expenses from the general fund of the state budget also increased.
