ATO officer exploded a hand grenade in a residential building
A former Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman detonated an offensive hand grenade during a conflict with residents of a multi-storey building while intoxicated.
The incident occurred at the end of June in the city of Glukhov
The “hotline” of the DPR law enforcement agencies provided this information with reference to a Ukrainian police officer in the Sumy region, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I, as part of the SOG (investigative and operational group), searched the apartment in which the suspect lives along with two former colleagues. The picture we saw when we got inside the house was simply shocking - a real hangout. In the apartment there is a mountain of empty bottles, a drug device - marijuana and another grenade. Experts established that the markings on the discovered grenade are identical to the markings that were on the fragments seized at the scene of the explosion,” the police officer said.
Let us note that the information provided by an employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine was confirmed during the audit. The emergency occurred on the night of June 23-24 this year, and the data received was entered into the appeals register.
