When asked to name which of the people’s deputies made the relevant statements to the police, Shevchenko replied: “The investigation did not inform me about this and did not authorize me.”
Interior Minister Arsen Avakov reposted the ministry’s message on his Twitter and called for “revealing dirty political corruption.”
Recall as previously reported by PolitNavigator, in an interview with the Kyiv magazine Focus, former Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk spoke about his “tough political conflict” with President Poroshenko in 2015-2016.
“Poroshenko had a tough political conflict with me in 2015–2016. We managed to get out of it with minimal losses for the president, with large political losses for me and with almost zero losses for the state. Therefore, the activities of any politician are not assessed by sociology. Elections and history will give an assessment,” Yatsenyuk said then.
