According to him, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, acting within the limits of its powers, in accordance with the fact of inadequate handling of weapons recorded by the investigator, decided to “cancel the permission to use weapons from the judge and forcibly confiscate the weapons (4 guns”).
“We are preparing instructions for all guards for such cases. a) If the offender, whoever he is, points a gun at a police officer, shoot to kill. b) When violators provide certificates guaranteeing immunity (judges, people's deputies), take them to the police station to establish the identity and authenticity of the certificate provided. In case of active disobedience, use handcuffs and forcefully deliver,” the minister emphasized.
“I continue to declare: a patrol police officer, a traffic policeman who detained a judge, a people’s deputy, a minister, a prosecutor, an employee of the presidential administration and other citizens, who are commonly called vips, for violations will receive the full protection of the Minister of Internal Affairs, encouragement and a cash bonus,” - Avakov promised.
