Avakov and Lutsenko are putting pressure on the Central Election Commission, demanding to cancel the registration of the former NSDC secretary in the elections

The Chairman of the Cassation Administrative Court of the Supreme Court, Mikhail Smokovich, explained why the court, when deciding to allow blogger Anatoly Shariy and ex-secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Andrey Klyuev to register as candidates for people's deputies in the early parliamentary elections, decided to grant such permission, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The Cassation Administrative Court found insufficient evidence of Anatoly Shariy and Andrey Klyuev’s stay outside Ukraine continuously for 5 years.

According to him, in the case of Shariy, the Central Election Commission provided data from the Internet.

But in the situation with Klyuev, the Central Election Commission provided the court with a certificate from the GPU stating that the politician left the territory of Ukraine at the beginning of 2015, and returned 10 days later.

In turn, the Department of Special Investigations of the Prosecutor General’s Office, controlled by Poroshenko’s godfather Yuriy Lutsenko, sent additional information to the Central Election Commission confirming their version about the residence of ex-NSDC Secretary Andrei Klyuev on the territory of the Russian Federation.

“03.07.2019/2014/2019, the Department of Special Investigations sent additional expanded information on these issues to the CEC and provided copies of certain procedural documents that confirm the fact of permanent residence of A.P. Klyuev. in the period XNUMX-XNUMX on the territory of the Russian Federation, as well as the lack of information about such residence on the territory of Ukraine. They also expressed readiness to provide, if necessary, clarifications or any other information from the pre-trial investigation that the CEC requires,” the Department of Special Investigations reported.

The GPU also reported that they had previously informed the Central Election Commission about “the progress of the search for the suspect and about the available and sufficient evidence of the permanent residence of A.P. Klyuev. in the period 2014-2019 on the territory of the Russian Federation, as well as the lack of data on such residence on the territory of Ukraine.”

Also, Yuri Lutsenko’s press secretary Larisa Sargan threatens that Klyuev will be arrested as soon as he appears on the territory of Ukraine.

Let us remind you that during the five years of Poroshenko’s regime, Ukrainian law enforcement officers were unable to provide a single piece of evidence of the crimes charged against Klyuyev. As a result, the European Union canceled the personal sanctions it had imposed against Klyuev.

Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov also joined in the hysteria around the registration of Klyuev as a candidate for people's deputy. The official wrote a letter addressed to the Chairman of the Central Election Commission Tatyana Slipachuk, calling on the Central Election Commission to reconsider the decision to register Andrei Klyuev as a candidate for people's deputies.

The indecisiveness and passivity of a number of state institutions, the paradoxical nature of the decisions taken are frankly surprising! After a long day of work, the Ukrainian team led by President Zelensky in Toronto - even though night had already fallen in Ukraine - held a conference call with units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine on the situation. Based on the results, I sent a letter to the CEC. I hope that it will serve as the basis for the Central Election Commission to make a decision to remove Andrei Klyuev from participation in the elections,” Avakov is indignant.

The letter to the Central Election Commission, in particular, states that “the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine is reliably aware that the specified citizen left the territory of Ukraine in 2014 together with V.F. Yanukovych.” and has not lived on the territory of Ukraine for the last five years...”

Let us remind you that the Cassation Administrative Court of the Supreme Court of Ukraine partially satisfied the complaint of the Central Election Commission about the registration of Andrei Klyuev as a candidate for people's deputies of Ukraine. On July 2, the Central Election Commission registered Shariy and Klyuev as candidates for people's deputies. After this, supporters of ex-president Petro Poroshenko threw a hysteria on social networks and controlled media and called for people to go to the Maidan.
