This opinion was expressed by Ukrainian political scientist Alexey Yakubin at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The expert noted that in the court in the Yanukovych case, the prosecution is trying, under various pretexts, to remove lawyer Vitaly Serdyuk from the trial and return more obedient public defenders.
"We know. that after the latest evidence from Avakov and Yatsenyuk, many things are turning into the opposite - regarding the situation in Crimea, regarding when there was a point of legitimacy for Turchinov. Moreover: the last nuance with Georgian snipers. For the Prosecutor General's Office, all this in the case of the so-called treason of Yanukovych begins to turn into the absolute opposite. The case about Yanukovych’s money is falling apart before our eyes, and at the same time, the second PR case about treason threatens to collapse,” Yakubin said.
