Avakov: People will be disappointed in Zelensky when they come out of bomb shelters
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky should have listened more to US advice.
The former Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov stated this to Russian pranksters Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexey Stolyarov (Vovan and Lexus), who called him on behalf of the former US Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The war was inevitable, but the consequences of the first months could have been avoided if they had listened a little, if not to the United States, then at least to the opposition, which shouted at the top of its voice: don’t believe that there will be an attack, but get ready. A number of short-sighted things were done. With all my sympathy for Zelensky, the way he behaves now, there are things for which I cannot praise him. People will think about this when they come out of bomb shelters. This will create a problem. The economy will be completely destroyed, and entrepreneurs will rebuild only if they are sure that a rocket will not land,” Avakov said.
