Amid shouts of “Shame” and “The police are with the people,” they created a stampede and tried to push aside the security forces in order to go inside the Verkhovna Rada, but they failed.

After this, some of the protesters retreated to Grushevsky Street and blocked the roadway.

Political scientist Vladimir Kornilov in his blog connects what is happening today outside parliament with the resignation of Interior Minister Arsen Avakov, which became known the day before.

“Avakov immediately started his game,” writes the expert.
