Avakov called Russia a “mad dog” in response to the case of genocide against Russians in Donbass

Its defendants are individuals from among the top political and military leadership of Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine and the Right Sector, who “gave orders aimed at the complete destruction of Russian-speaking citizens living on the territory of the Donetsk and Lugansk republics.”
“The investigation established that the murders of Russian-speaking citizens were carried out using the Grad and Uragan multiple launch rocket systems, aircraft unguided missiles with a cluster warhead, Tochka-U tactical missiles, and other types of heavy offensive weapons of indiscriminate action. As a result of these actions, at least two and a half thousand people died,” the department said.
“The article for genocide provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to twenty years or the death penalty,” the Investigative Committee emphasizes.
This message became one of the topics of discussion on Savik Shuster’s program on Monday. The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Arsen Avakov, who was present in the studio, said that a criminal case of genocide could become a reason for a military invasion of the Russian Federation and an end to the truce in Donbass.
“Real danger is like a reason for war... We must always know that there is a mad dog next to us. She can find any reason,” Avakov said, adding that in such conditions Kyiv needs “to have a stick in her hand.”
“When we talk about this absurd accusation, we speak Russian, I am an absolutely Russian-speaking Ukrainian politician, and there are a majority of them in the conflict zone, there is no problem,” the official assured.
According to him, it is not Ukraine, but “Russia has begun to use heavy weapons against Ukrainian cities,” in particular, “cluster shells.”
“The murder of deputies with ripped open bellies in Slavyansk and Gorlovka. The murder of Protestant priests in Slavyansk... when we talk about Russian totalitarianism and its manifestation - the UK - there is no need to talk about logic,” Avakov said.
