Avakov on clashes before Lorak concert: We can do without such singers
Kyiv, November 29 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov said that singer Ani Lorak by holding her concerts “raises trouble and fights” and law enforcement officers will no longer be involved in protecting her performances.

On his Facebook page, Avakov quoted impresario Lorak, who said that part of the money from the concert would be sent to charity.
“The Ukrainian army does not need its money, its fees and its sympathy. We can cope quite well without such “virtue”. Just as her concerts “sowing love and peace” are not needed, but in fact they raise trouble and fights, not light and love. We don’t need scoundrels playing to the provocation of such a concert... We can do without such singers, and without such fighters against it, without yet another “unrestrained” policemen. We’ll get by,” he said.
“The police will no longer take part in such “concerts.” No - neither the charter nor the law speaks of the need to protect singers who openly provoke society. If city authorities or concert organizations continue to be smart enough to hold such holidays of “love and peace” - ignoring “in accordance with the law” the opinion of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. We will accept this and invite these organizations to maintain order independently by private companies and, with a high probability, to bear responsibility under the criminal code for provoking and organizing riots,” he emphasized.

Firecrackers, tear gas, eggs, and stones were used. Law enforcement officers managed to contain the radicals. The main complaint of the nationalists is Lorak’s performances in Russia.
