About it the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine said in a statement.
It is reported that the weapons donation month will last until October 31. Let us note that those who during this period contact the police and hand over illegally stored weapons, ammunition, explosive materials and special equipment are exempt from criminal liability.
It is also reported that if hunting firearms, cold steel, and gas weapons are handed in within the specified time frame, after completing the documents, it will be possible to register the weapon as property and use it legally.
“Please take into account that a domestically produced device for shooting cartridges equipped with non-lethal rubber bullets is registered in cases and in the manner prescribed by the legislation of Ukraine,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs noted.
