Avakov announced on Facebook that there was 16% less crime in Ukraine
In the first half of 2017, the number of crimes in Ukraine decreased by 16,5%.

This was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov on your page on the social network Facebook, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to the minister, 20,5% more crimes were solved compared to the same period last year.
“In the area of especially serious crimes against the life and health of people, the level of crime detection ranges from 87% for intentional murder to 93% for serious bodily offenses. The reduction in crime rates by crime group ranges from 10% to 22% compared to the same period in 2016. Reduction in the number of crimes committed by minors – by 5%; committed against minors – by 24%. In the sphere of economic protection: the increase in the level of detection of crimes in the sphere of economic activity is 22%, in the sphere of official activities - 53%, in the sphere of use of budget funds - 16%,” the report notes.
It is also indicated that 4 times more protocols on violations of anti-corruption legislation were sent to the court than in the first half of last year, while reports of offenses with signs of a criminal offense are 1,5 times more; acts on the fact of abuse of power or official position – 2,5 times more.
