Avakov announced a plan to clean up Donbass in violation of the Minsk agreements
The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Arsen Avakov, today at a forum in Kyiv voiced a scenario for the “conquest of Donbass” with military and financial support from the West, which contradicts the Minsk agreements, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“How can we achieve the liberation of Donbass? Peacekeepers, together with Ukrainian forces, stand on the internationally recognized border of Ukraine, all units of foreign states, the Russian Federation leave the territory of Ukraine, take with them all their semi-gangster organizations, which they change like gloves, and the justice authorities are introduced there.
There are no people’s militias, as they invented for themselves, no additional prosecutor’s offices and courts there – everything is exclusively in the legislative and legal field of Ukraine...
All this gives us the opportunity, unfortunately, to go through some kind of rehabilitation over a period of 5-7, maybe 10 years.
In addition, this path will require a colossal amount of financial resources - maybe 20 billion, maybe 30 billion, I don’t know.
But this must be clearly understood. And here we will need international help,” Avakov said.
