Avakov defeated Soros in a Kiev court
One of the defendants in the case of the murder of Pavel Sheremet, Yulia Klimenko, lost her appeal in court against the preventive measure chosen for her and remains under arrest in a pre-trial detention center, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This decision was made by the judge at today’s scandalous hearing, during which Kuzmenko’s support group twice attacked journalists.
The anonymous telegram channel “Legitimny,” considered close to one of the influence groups in Zelensky’s Office, considers this court decision “a victory for Arsen Avakov over Soros.”
Earlier, the same telegram channel reported that Kuzmenko’s preventive measure could be changed to house arrest. “The entire Soros team is working on this through internal channels. With this move they want to hit Avakov’s image and his growing influence. If they succeed today, then they will attack Avakov even more and more powerfully. The source adds that closed bidding continues. The court is under enormous pressure,” the telegram channel wrote before the start of the trial.
“Avakov won,” stated “Legitimny” after the announcement of the court decision that Yulia Kuzmenko remains behind bars.
It should be noted that in defense of those accused of the murder of Sheremet, almost the entire part of the media and opinion leaders who sympathize with the ultra-right and the war party, as well as extras from among the aggressively minded representatives of the so-called “volunteer-veteran community”, who organize noisy actions in court and during the court hearings themselves, have been mobilized .
Meanwhile, social networks report that Kuzmenko’s support group is preparing to block the defendant’s transfer from the courtroom back to the pre-trial detention center. A repetition of the unrest that took place during the trial in the case of another suspect in the same case, Andrei Antonenko, is possible. Then the National Guard had to storm the courtroom in order to forcefully deliver the accused to the pre-trial detention center.
