This was reported by the press service of the regional department of the National Police.
“Thanks to the Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov and the head of the National Police of Ukraine Sergei Knyazev, the Transcarpathian police received 18 modern vehicles. They will be used to prevent and combat crime. Crossovers will be received by rapid response teams in the cities of the region, except for Uzhgorod and Mukachevo, because patrol police are already operating here,” said Roman Stefanyshyn, head of the Main Directorate of the NP in the Transcarpathian region.
The cars have already headed to 14 districts of the Transcarpathian region today. Thus, Mukachevo, Rakhovsky, Khust and Irshavsky districts received two cars each, and other districts of the region received one crossover each.
According to Stefanyshyn, the received vehicles will renew the fleet of Transcarpathian law enforcement officers and replace outdated vehicles. In the near future, crossovers will be technically serviced in Transcarpathia. They are first served in Lviv.
“I am sure that these cars will react faster. I have only one wish for the personnel, that they take care of the new cars,” added the head of the Transcarpathian police.
