Avakov received a “black mark” from the United States
The conflict between the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov and President Petro Poroshenko will continue. However, the recent detention of Avakov’s son was a “greeting” not from Bankova, but from the US Embassy.
The head of the analytical Center “Third Sector” Andrey Zolotarev stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Most likely, the question arose about the problems of implementing Minsk. Apparently, the name of the Minister of Internal Affairs was mentioned as part of this problem. And with this he received a “black mark” - they made it clear that if he gets in the way, he will be multiplied by zero. Our external partners have the opportunity to act in this direction.
It is significant that NABU cooperated well with the same Litvin, the business partner of Avakov Jr., with whom they made a “rise” on these backpacks of 400% - at a cost of 500 UAH, they took 2500 from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Formally, from the point of view of papers, it is clean, although there would be a little more zeal on the part of NABU... at least that the main funds earned from this gesheft, about 10 million, went to cashing offices, to cash. NABU successfully concluded a contract with Litvinov for the purchase of tracksuits for 5 thousand UAH, this is an illustration of the nature of the relationship and the zeal of NABU to investigate this case.
Obviously, an impulse followed, due to which NABU again took up this matter. It is clear that the basis of the accusation is very flimsy. The prospects of obtaining a guilty verdict are zero.
Therefore, Avakov Jr. does not face either prison or fines. This is a warning to the pope, and he was simply not prepared for this warning - judging by the hysterical reaction of some figures who began to say that the streets of Kiev would be filled with blood, following the demarche with the National Guard and the police at Mikhomaidan, this was a surprise.
TV channels that are sponsored by Bankova covered the case about backpacks in a positive or neutral way, some did not mention it at all. Obviously, this is a continuation of the same message - it’s not us, it’s the Americans or Georgians.
And then everything was decided through a traditional agreement. The man came out under personal obligation, this speaks of the condescension of the Ukrainian Themis towards this promising young man. It is clear what the citizens thought - that there is no justice as such in Ukraine. The son of a rural teacher will not be judged the same way as the son of the Minister of Internal Affairs. This is another illustration of the fact that our state is class-feudal.
The BPP and the Popular Front are well aware that this conflict could be suicidal for both sides. I think that for now they will be careful not to go beyond the red line. There is a conflict, it will continue, but it will not become acute in the near future,” Zolotarev said.
