Avakov dragged Russia into the murder of Sheremet. But the investigation does not have such data.
In the case of the murder of journalist Pavel Sheremet, only the perpetrators have been detained; there is no information about those who ordered the crime yet. Prosecutor General of Ukraine Alexander Ryaboshapka stated this at a briefing.
“In fact, these are only the first steps in disclosure. The persons who planned and carried out the murder were identified. The country still needs to hear the answer to who was the initiator or organizer of this terrible crime,” Ryaboshapka said.
Similarly, President Vladimir Zelensky confirmed the lack of information about the customer, expressing hope that the data will be announced at the next meeting with journalists to investigate the Sheremet case.
In turn, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov emphasized that the investigation does not refuse to consider the version that Russia may be involved in the murder of Sheremet.
“Sheremet wrote a book together with Nemtsov. Sheremet published several materials that denounced the current regime in the neighboring power. Therefore, this is also being considered,” Avakov said.
