Avakov admitted: suicide cases of ATO participants exceeded five hundred
The Military Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine has registered about 500 cases of suicide by participants in the so-called. “ATO” after returning from the combat zone.

Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov reported this on his Facebook page.
“According to the military prosecutor’s office, at the beginning of June 2017, about 500 cases of suicide of participants in the anti-terrorist operation were registered after returning from the combat zone,” the report says.
In addition, according to the International Human Rights Center “La Strada Ukraine”, already in 2015 the number of requests from family members of ATO participants with complaints of domestic violence on their part increased eightfold.
