Avakov blackmails Poroshenko: Police lifted the cordon of Mikhomaidan
Police today removed the cordon and fences that stood around the perimeter of the protesters’ tent camp near the Verkhovna Rada.
“We no longer intend to waste state resources and continue to protect this rubbish under the Rada. He gave the command to remove the Ministry of Internal Affairs forces from guarding the perimeter of a “mass protest of 30 people,” said the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov.

Verkhovna Rada deputy Semyon Semenchenko, in turn, called the departure of the police the first victory of the protest participants.
“The revolutionary camp near Verkhovna Rada has been unblocked. The cages have been removed, military equipment and personnel of the National Guard of Ukraine and the police have returned to their places of deployment... A difficult struggle lies ahead, but this is the first victory,” Semenchenko said.
Kiev political scientist Dmitry Dzhangirov considers the lifting of the cordon to be Avakov’s game - thus the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is blackmailing President Petro Poroshenko.
The day before, information appeared in the press that the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine was conducting searches of Avakov’s son – it is being investigated the scandalous case of 2015 about the supply of a batch of backpacks to the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the needs of employees in the ATO zone at inflated prices.
“With hucksters, everything is simple: you’ve been offended, do something nasty in return…. My son is on a search, is his son nervous about NABU investigators?! - Okay, be nervous about the lack of security in the government quarter! And I don’t care what you agreed on with Volker!” – Dzhangirov explains the logic of Avakov’s actions.
