The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine is concerned about the appearance of the new “policemen,” he stated this today at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.

According to preliminary estimates, Avakov needs 800-900 million hryvnia for a new uniform, developed in the same style. It is not entirely clear from the message from the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs how many people can be dressed with this money. “We currently have a police force of 150 thousand people, which should be there by the beginning of the year,” the minister expressed vaguely.
Reportedly, the new outfit will be designed in the same style for all units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs: special forces, experts and criminologists, and criminal investigation officers. Avakov apparently has no other concerns other than changing the clothes of his subordinates.
