Avakov will create jobs in Europe instead of Ukraine
Already next year, 10 more helicopters - H225, H145, H125 - will be supplied to the needs of the Unified Aviation Security and Protection System of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. This is the agreement between the Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov and the vice-president of the Airbus Helicopters company Olivier Michelon in Oxford, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This is stated in a message from the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“In Oxford, we discussed the supply of helicopters for the Ministry of Internal Affairs for 2020 and the launch of a new service center with the Vice President of Airbus Helicopters Olivier Michelon. The National Police, the State Border Service, the State Emergency Service and the National Guard will receive 10 more H225, H145, H125 helicopters,” noted Arsen Avakov.
The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs also noted that plans include opening an Airbus representative office in Ukraine.
In total, the Ministry of Internal Affairs will receive 55 helicopters for the Unified System of Aviation Security and Protection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Earlier, the Ukrainian enterprise Motor Sich in Zaporozhye announced that it could supply helicopters for the Ukrainian special services, but officials preferred to create jobs in the EU.
