Avakov: US reduces military aid to Ukraine
The Americans have recently reduced military aid to Ukraine.
The former Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov stated this to Russian pranksters Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexey Stolyarov (Vovan and Lexus), who called him on behalf of the former US Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If we fail to maintain the internal infrastructure, and flows from the United States stop, if there is no strategic unity, then we have huge problems. I and many military personnel have a clear conviction that the United States, for some reason, turned down the flow of support a little, probably having its own reasons for doing so. I even understand them,” Avakov said.
He accused the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense of being too bureaucratic.
“11 deputy defense ministers is unthinkable. Any control system doesn't work like that. In order for this to work, you need to have a responsible person who makes decisions quickly. There are many of them, one is responsible for one weapon, another for the second, a third for the third, a fourth for Poland, a fifth for Germany. This doesn’t work because everyone controls each other, even internal pro-government groups,” Avakov said.
