Avakov is ashamed to mention that Sheremet’s killers turned out to be Nazis
The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov, giving an interview about the detention of a gang suspected of murdering journalist Pavel Sheremet, is silent about the investigation materials, which say that one of the motives for the crime was the Nazi ideas of ex-ATO participants (similar accusations were brought against the Azov regiment, which patronized by Avakov).
Renat Kuzmin, a former Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine and a member of the Verkhovna Rada from the OPZZH, stated this on TV channel 112, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Everything has happened in my lifetime, there is nothing to surprise me; for the last five years I have worked as a lawyer. And these same people who tell us from TV screens about the solution to the murder of Sheremet, they told us in exactly the same way about the murder of Buzina,” said Kuzmin.
“They probably noticed the discrepancy between what was said at the press conference and what was stated in the “video about fag” (report of suspicion - ed..) What probably especially caught your eye was the phrase that the killers committed this murder under the influence of “Aryan ideas”, in order to glorify the “Aryan nation” and some other story connected with Aryans and non-Aryans.
You know, this all seems like some kind of madness. Look at what is happening, these statements and the work of law enforcement agencies recently. Do you see this degradation? This is the complete destruction of the professional community and the absence of any prospects,” said the lawyer.
At the same time, according to him, the answer to all questions lies in the events of 2014.
“We must return to 2014, we must give a legal assessment of the events of that year, and if we do not do this, we will constantly mark time.
After all, Buzina’s case is not as simple as it seems at first glance. There, too, everything seems to be clear, there are some people who were accused of murder, the heads of law enforcement agencies also said that they were pursuing some ideological motives, but what really happened?
But in fact, we are returning to the events of 2014 on the Maidan, we are returning to the Maidan, we are returning to the creation of the DPR-LPR, and we are returning to the events in Crimea. These events need to be assessed and the countdown from 2014 should begin,” added Kuzmin.
Earlier, ex-speaker of the SBU Stanislav Rechinsky explained how the Ukrainian special services could provoke a detained gang of ATO officers to kill Sheremet:
“They could motivate us in any way they wanted. On compromising evidence or on ideological grounds, painting Sheremet, for example, as an agent of the Russian Federation. Why might these services need “destabilization” at that time? For internal mobilization. That is, they actually carried out the same task that “Fox” spoke about in a telephone conversation - to stir up Kyiv. But not with “Grad”, but with targeted killing,” Rechinsky reasoned.
