Avakov begs for forgiveness from militants injured by police
The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Arsen Avakov, apologized for the beating of nationalists by police in the Dnieper on May 9 and promised to complete the investigation and provide a report on the events that led to this by July 10.

The minister announced this at a government meeting.
“I want to apologize to the Ukrainian people for the ups and downs that resulted from the inappropriate reaction of the police in Dnieper. I believe that the measures we have taken will be adequate, and by July 10 we will be able to provide public information and a report on the details of the circumstances that occurred there,” Avakov said.
As PolitNavigator reported, after the incident in the Dnieper Avakov fired all his bosses regional and city police.
