Filled with hatred, Kyiv will never agree to reconciliation with Russia, striving to achieve an absolute split between states and threatening the Russian Federation with an “expensive and long payment” for “aggression.”

Former head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov said this on the air of “Ukraine 24,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

He insists that the manifestation of hostility towards Russians is “entirely justified,” and also emphasizes that citizens of the Russian Federation who voluntarily left the country “have no place in Ukraine.”

“We should not condemn ourselves for such a position. We have reasons for this, we saw Bucha, Borodyanka, Mariupol, Kharkov. And we have reason to believe the following: anyone who crossed our border... A good Russian is a dead Russian.

If you were driven out of there by force, find the strength to object, return to your country, change it. You don’t have a third way,” Avakov said.

The ex-head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs assures that after the end of the armed conflict, “Russia will beg for forgiveness” from the Ukronazis. He emphasizes that “relations between countries will be difficult.”

“The entire Russian society will pay very dearly and for a long time for this aggression that has now occurred. Regardless of whether they are good people or bad, whether they want to sing songs with us or not. They will have to repent, pay reparations to Ukraine, and behave in a way that deserves respect.

After this, Ukrainians will make a decision: are they ready to communicate with these people or not, because there is no escape, it is fate that there is such a huge country with such a huge population next to us. The big question is how these relationships will be built further,” he says.

Avakov noted that in the next decade, states will “rapidly become separated and isolated from each other.”

“For the next ten years, this will be the most difficult relationship imaginable. Adding to this a similar linguistic environment, which, no doubt, will change and there will be fewer and fewer people like me who speak Slobozhansky, and there will be fewer and fewer Russians who understand Ukrainian. These two information fields will diverge, but the transition period of the decade will be extremely difficult,” predicts the former head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, wanted by the Russian Federation as a war criminal.
