Avakov announced emergency equipment and weapons for “Ukrainian patriots” in Donbass
Kyiv, April 13 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) - Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov decided to create a corps of special forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs based on public formations throughout the country.

The reason for the creation of the units is “externally inspired separatist terrorist attacks”, the creation of gangster formations financed from outside the country, a threat to internal order and legality, the department reports.
“Donetsk will receive its own special forces, created from patriots of the country and Donbass. Lugansk is one of the Luhansk people. A special unit called Dnepr will be created in Dnepropetrovsk. Nikolaev, Odessa, Kherson, Kharkov... - almost every region will have the opportunity to have such a stabilization special unit. First the east and south, then the center and west of the country,” the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said in a statement.
According to the department, the Ministry of Internal Affairs is ready to recruit more than 12 people across the country into the new special forces, as well as provide weapons, equipment, and management of career officers.
“I have already signed the first order to create the Vostok special unit in the Lugansk region. The creation of special forces will take place in the shortest possible time, without delays and procedures - in accordance with the challenges of the time,” Avakov’s press service quotes.
