The ban on any trade is confirmed by all local residents, who, among other things, admitted that now trade is their only chance to survive.
“I sell pickles that I closed myself, and now I’m selling them in order to somehow pay for gas. If I sell all my goods in a day, and this is unlikely, then I will earn 100-150 hryvnia. This will be an addition to my meager pension. The Ukrainian government travels around Hawaii, and I am forced to live on this meager pension. The local authorities threatened that if we continue to trade here, they will rake us up with the goods with a tractor,” the pensioner complained.
It is worth noting that representatives of law and order were initially silent about whose order they were carrying out, and then reluctantly replied that this was an order of the City Council.
“I came from the Novoaidarsky district to sell cottage cheese and milk. We have no work in the village, there is no work for us in the cities either, we survive only on the cattle that we raised ourselves. This is our only source of income,” admitted the farmer.
