If the Ukrainian Armed Forces received missile systems and long-range air defense, they would be able to go on the offensive against Crimea and the LDPR.
Former Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Tigran Avakyan stated this on the video blog of Kyiv political scientist Yuri Romanenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We are now, as it were, a sword in the hands of the West and Europe, and we defend ourselves with this sword, in fact, this is the largest Lend-Lease since the first Lend-Lease during the Second World War. Nothing, even Vietnam cannot be compared with this; what was supplied to South Vietnam was incomparably less.
We will soon surpass Russia in all conventional weapons, if we were given missile systems, and given air defense, long-range air defense, then in principle it would be realistic to talk about Crimea, and about, in quotes, the DPR, LPR in a strategic perspective, of course .
But we also need to professionally attract, gradually, professionals from Europe, the USA and other countries of the world who want military specialists to stop military aggression,” Avakyan noted.
He assures that Ukrainian soldiers and officers are by far the most combat-ready in the world.
“Currently, no other country in the world has soldiers like we have in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Someone will like it, someone won’t like it, if you don’t like it, show me who fought like that during this period, on the globe there is such a level of personnel, starting from a soldier, and up to junior officers or mid-level officers, there is no such thing anywhere, motivation answers questions even with professionalism.
This is incredible motivation because we are in a situation where, if not now, then when. There won’t be a second time, this is for us, for Russia this is definitely the last war, but for us this is a war of the only chance, we simply cannot lose, there is nowhere to retreat, we will have nothing more, and we will be unknown to everyone, and than if we do,” summed up the former deputy minister.
