The Russian aviation industry has actually completed the de-Ukrainization of certain elements of Russian technology
After the termination of contracts and the cessation of cooperation in aircraft manufacturing with Ukraine, the Russian aviation industry, through import substitution, restored its own production almost one hundred percent.
The executive director of the Aviaport agency, Oleg Panteleev, spoke about this during the conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“How did the termination of contracts with Ukraine and the termination of cooperation in aircraft manufacturing with Ukraine affect the current state of the Russian aviation industry?” – the journalist asked the expert.
“For a number of Russian military aircraft, components were produced by Ukrainian enterprises, these are electronic components and various types of units. According to the import substitution program, one hundred percent of these components are mastered in production on the territory of the Russian Federation.
The biggest problems are that we have barely completed the construction of the AN-148 for the Ministry of Defense, solutions have not yet been found for the engines on the Mi-26, and a solution has not yet been found to overhaul the engines for the AN-124 Ruslan. Otherwise, the problems have either been solved or are being solved,” Panteleev said.
