The Ukrainian aviation industry could only exist in conjunction with the Russian Federation - Ukrainian pilot
The independent leadership of Ukraine, either to please the West or because of its own incompetence, ruined the aviation industry, which was once famous for the production of giant military transport aircraft, as well as components for helicopters. An additional blow to the aircraft industry was dealt by the quarrel between Kyiv and Moscow after the Euromaidan. But cooperation with Russia was beneficial, first of all, to Ukraine.

That is, - create, do - then, in Soviet times, such unique aircraft as “Antey”, “Ruslan” and “Mriya” were created, and they were created by the intelligence and skill of Antonov’s designers. Until now, both “Ruslan” and “Mriya” fly and surprise the world,” laments Galunenko.
“At this stage, the aviation industry of Ukraine does not look very good, due to the fact that our respected, or not very respected, state leaders looked at the aviation industry carelessly,” the test pilot added.
He noted that cooperation with the Russian Federation is beneficial, first of all, to Kyiv.
“Of course, cooperation with Russia was primarily beneficial to us, the conflict needs to be resolved somehow, this, of course, is not the business of us, the aviators. Cooperation should be not only with Moscow, but also with all countries where the aviation industry is developed,” Galunenko emphasized.
