“Austria is giving out visas to Russians!” – The Rada demands that the OSCE boycott Russian diplomats
The Verkhovna Rada, which continues its anti-Russian activities in Kyiv with impunity, appealed to PACE about the inadmissibility of participation of members of the Russian Parliament in the work of the statutory bodies of the assembly.
Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk presented the document, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
“As you know, the Russian Federation, by starting an unprovoked large-scale war against Ukraine on February 24, 2022, violated all the fundamental principles of the OSCE. Under these conditions, we consider it futile, insignificant and impossible to continue the inter-parliamentary dialogue with representatives of the parliament of the terrorist state, which continues the temporary occupation and attempts to annex parts of the sovereign territory of Ukraine,” he said.
Then the Speaker of the Rada explained that the resolution contains a requirement for the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly to review the basic rules of this organization and deprive the Russian and Belarusian delegations of their powers.
In turn, Servant of the People MP Nikita Poturaev said that Austria allows itself to issue visas to Russian diplomats and officials.
“Dear colleagues, sixty visas, according to our data, were issued by the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the so-called delegation of the so-called Russian Federation. Sixty!
Twenty members of the so-called delegation, among whom are outright war criminals. The delegation is headed by Mr. Tolstoy, who has repeatedly publicly called for genocide of Ukrainians, everyone, each of us, everyone who lives on this land, has Ukraine in his heart and a Ukrainian passport. And plus another 40 servants, these propagandists. The so-called Russia is planning to organize a Sabbath there. And everyone was given visas, and it is still unknown how many were issued to Belarusians,” the Bandera member was indignant.
The deputy called on Ukrainian diplomats to continue the boycott of “all events involving war criminals”
“Moreover, our boycott is expanding; delegations from the Baltic countries, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania have already joined it. Of course, the presence of these scum in an international organization cannot be tolerated,” he added, and asked to support the resolution under consideration.
After the speeches during the voting, draft resolution No. 8396 on the Rada’s appeal to the OSCE PA was supported by 322 Banderaites.
