Autonomy for Donbass split Ukrainians in half
28% of Ukrainians surveyed agree to autonomy for the uncontrolled territories of Donbass for the sake of a peaceful resolution of the conflict. Another 23% rather agree with this position. At the same time, a quarter of those surveyed were against it, and almost the same number could not make up their minds, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
About it survey data shows, conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology in early March, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
51% of respondents said that they would most likely or definitely support the proposal to grant autonomy within Ukraine to the uncontrolled territories of Donetsk and Lugansk regions, if this is necessary to stop hostilities and peacefully resolve the conflict in Donbass, the press release notes.
