Now the Artek fleet, notes the press service of the MDC, is the first and so far the only one in Crimea that has new vehicles designed for intercity and tourist transportation of both children and adults, and certified in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation. The previous fleet resources were worn out to 80%.
According to the head of the Artek fleet, Vadim Gerasimenko, the new buses are equipped with seat belts, GLONASS navigators, and topographers. The buses are equipped with brake retarders, which is very important in the Crimean mountainous area.
Artek drivers have already made their first trip on new buses, driving them from Simferopol to Artek.
According to Vasily Burdynyuk, a driver with 25 years of experience, “the new buses have high performance, are warm, with spacious and comfortable interiors. There is everything necessary for a comfortable trip: air conditioning, additional heaters for cold weather, monitors for watching movies, radios.”
