Author of the theory about “crypto-Banderists”: I was right, Russia is an occupier for Ukrainians
Military correspondent Dmitry Steshin, at one time published a controversial treatise on the “crypto-Banderites”, who refuted the pro-Russian sentiment of the residents of Ukraine, found confirmation of his theory in the results of a fresh sociological survey conducted by the Lvov company “Rating”. 60% of respondents said they were ready to defend the territorial integrity of Ukraine with arms in hand in case of a threat.
“The absolute majority of Ukrainians consider themselves patriots, almost 60% are ready to defend Ukraine with arms in hand. This is an unpleasant number for the survey, but we have an exact answer to the question: “Why didn’t Russia liberate Ukraine in 2014”?
Conspiracy theorists and patriotic guards like to say that some Accountant (from the reptilians) came to Putin with a suitcase of incriminating evidence, and the tyrant immediately got scared and began looking for reverse gear on his Armata.
In fact, everything is sadder. The process of “russification”, like ethnogenesis, takes only 30 years, and with collective Great Ukrainian therapy – even faster. And Russia for them is not a liberator, but an occupier - let’s be honest without hypocrisy,” Steshin commented.
The former secretary of the Odessa diocese, Archpriest Andrei Novikov, who was forced to leave Ukraine in 2014 due to the threat of persecution by the SBU, did not agree with him.
“Firstly, there are many who are Russian and support Russia, and they need to be protected and saved, no matter how many idiots and traitors there are. If they had been given a conditional Kursk in 1991, the Svidomo would have been separated in Kursk, but this did not mean that Kursk should not be saved and returned. Secondly, this is simply an illegally seized indigenous territory of Russia, regardless of what the propaganda-washed lard lovers think. There are higher values than the “opinion of residents,” and such values include the unity of the Russian land and the mission of a united Russian state,” Novikov believes.
