Azarov intends to return the valuables seized from his apartment through the court
Former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov called yesterday’s search in his Kyiv apartment a “provocation”, in which, we recall, the Ukrainian police found “treasures” in the form of jewelry and paintings by Repin. Azarov also intends to sue the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and return his property through the court.

The former official wrote about this on his page on the social network.
“I don’t consider myself guilty and I’m not going to make excuses to anyone. I didn't steal anything from anyone. Not a single court has found me guilty of committing any crimes. Even the Kiev regime itself has not been able to come up with anything against me for three years,” he wrote.
The ex-official said that the court did not have the right to seize his property.
“So, on the basis of what right and law are things, perhaps mine, but perhaps not mine, taken from an apartment that does not belong to me? There is not a single reason why I would refuse my personal belongings that rightfully belong to me, and I will seek their return through the courts, but now, after viewing the photographs, I will not be able to confirm or deny the ownership of all those things that were shown,” – Azarov added.
He also noted that he actually collected books, and in his house there was a large library of about five thousand volumes, of which about two dozen were old history books.
