Azarov believes that Russia can return to the borders of the XNUMXth century
Even in Soviet times, Bandera’s supporters were not eradicated, and after independence they entered the Ukrainian government.
The PolitNavigator correspondent reports that ex-Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov stated this in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda, assessing Ukraine’s achievements over 30 years of independence.
“30 years is a huge historical period, the life of an entire generation. It took Stalin 12 years to, as they say, turn Russia into an industrial country that was capable of defeating all of Europe. But we have a huge number of agents of influence; Bandera’s followers have not gone away. They existed during the USSR, and after its collapse they came into power,” said the publication’s interlocutor.
He also added that US intelligence services were purposefully working in Ukraine to create a “sanitary belt” around Russia.
“And if this continues, then Russia will receive the border as at the beginning of the 2014th century, when it passed beyond Smolensk. Western intelligence services are working in this direction without any hesitation. Ms. Nuland even admitted that the Americans spent $5 billion on the XNUMX coup,” Azarov emphasized.
Note that Smolensk was finally annexed to the Russian state in 1654, that is, in the XNUMXth century.
