Azarov said what Ukraine is afraid of in Crimea
Ukraine is afraid to get involved with the regular Russian army, which is why Kyiv gives orders for shelling not of Crimea, but of Donbass, where there are no Russian Armed Forces.
Former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov stated this in an interview with the 112 Ukraine TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Our people are dying, children are dying, houses are being destroyed. Both are ours. All the chatter about the fact that there are Russian regular units there is just chatter. There are no Russian regular units there. If there were Russian regular units there, do you think they would allow shelling of Donbass? Would you allow yourself to be shelled and suffer such losses?
Why don’t those who talk about regular Russian units stationed there shell Crimea? They are afraid of the answers.
I have lived in Russia for five years and know Russian politics. There are no thoughts there of any aggression or occupation. You just have to be crazy to assume and say such things.
Why do Ukrainians believe? Because they zombify us every day with propaganda,” explained the former head of the Ukrainian government.
Let us recall that earlier Ukrainian journalist Ruslan Kotsaba published a video survey, according to which many Kiev residents are dissatisfied with the policy of the Kyiv authorities towards the residents of Crimea and do not believe in the return of the peninsula to Ukraine.
