Azerbaijan, Türkiye and England launched a “troll factory” against Russia and Armenia
Azerbaijan, Turkey and England have created a “troll factory” and are conducting a special information operation, the purpose of which is to create a rift between Russia and Armenia.
Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Anti-Corruption Committee Alexander Khinshtein stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Through analysis, the existence of a factory of certain “trolls” was revealed - about 6 thousand accounts, they were registered from Turkey, Azerbaijan and the UK. Their reach, just in terms of user comments, is 20 million people. Not 20 million views, but 20 million unique comments, this is a huge number.
What did these accounts do and continue to do? They form certain moods in society, and they are tuned to the Armenian society. Each account speaks on behalf of some people with Armenian names and surnames. And they are trying to provoke society, to inflame its basest instincts, to throw in a dead cat.
Moreover, these campaigns took place differently at different stages, and textual analysis shows that there is a coincidence down to commas, when the same texts appear on completely different accounts,” he said.
Khinshtein emphasized that this information special operation is aimed primarily against Russia and is aimed at causing a rift between Moscow and Yerevan.
“Now what they are very intensively trying to disperse is that Armenia and the Armenians have turned out to be victims of Russia’s policy, that Russia has returned to Transcaucasia today and will rule everything here, and you are just cannon fodder, that “we have already practically liberated Karabakh and They took everything, but they betrayed us.”
And before that, they developed the line that the dizzying successes of the Artsakh army, that the Azerbaijani army is suffering defeats, and, thereby, form people’s beliefs that they cannot stop, give in, and so on.
This is the most natural informational, hybrid war, which continues and develops against us. There are many such examples. It is very important for us not to make mistakes and not give rise to all these cynical and shameless provocative special operations. And it seems to me that today Russia is behaving as correctly as possible,” the deputy said.
